The Jade Sea
Unwaking Waters
June 30, 2010
200 years ago, the waters here flowed uninterrupted and the Harvest Temple floated on the water. On the day of Harvest Ceremony, Emperor Angsiyan was killed by his body guard: Shiro Tagachi. No one knows what compelled Shiro to kill his master, some suspect that he is insane or perhaps possessed by a demonic force.
In present time, I came to this area to seek out a dragon named Kunnavang trapped in the depths of the temple. It turns out that it has been corrupted ever since the Jade Wind. Luckily when we defeated it, we were able to reverse the affliction and gained insight on how to proceed and kill Shiro. Today I am here to revisit the Unwaking Waters and see if I can uncover anything helpful before I move on. Solorian, Cver and Zetta are accompanying me as well.

Rhea's Crater
June 29, 2010
I enjoyed waiting in Seafarer’s Rest for any strangers that wanted to help me in my quest to explore Rhea’s Crater. This is because the outpost used to be a fancy resort for the Luxon elite. Only Zetta showed up to help me, so we continued to wait a while and help ourselves to Luxon cuisine. We started with a hot bowl of scuttlefish soup, followed by irukandji and seaweed salad, yeti liver paté, saltspray dragon steak, and some poached pears for dessert. No one else showed up, so Zetta and I set out to Rhea’s Crater.

Silent Surf
June 29, 2010
At first I was a bit nervous to explore the area known as SIlent Surf. Besides dealing with angry fish and outcasts, there are a lot of saltspray dragons here. I heard that before the Jade Wind hit they were nice, but now they attack anyone that approaches them. Thankfully Solorian D., U. Loreal and Zetta were brave enough to help me today.

Gyala Hatchery
June 28, 2010
When I first heard about Gyala Hatchery, I was surprised to hear about the young sealife the Luxons were saving. In the hatchery they have a wide range of eggs and hatchlings, including sea life that can no longer live in the Jade Sea, and baby turtles. They are such a war like culture that I didn’t expect them to have a soft spot for raising young animals. To fully explore the hatchery area, I was accompanied by Solorian, Kali T.C., and Jordan O.F. We began our adventure from Leviathan Pits, a small jade mining area.
We first saw this enormous Leviathan ship that stretches from the Leviathan Pits to the explorable area. Apparently the structure was crafted out of a mammoth turtle shell.

Maishang Hills
June 27, 2010
Like Mount Qinkai, Maishang Hills is another Luxon territory that attracts Canthan visitors. The outpost where I asked my friends to wait for me: Bai Paasu Reach, is a popular tourist destination for city folk that want to visit this mountainous region. Further away at Eradon Terrace, there is a jade-smashing device made by Canthans to help with making jade more transportable. While I was thinking about all of this, my friends Xia, Vengance, and Cver showed up and we set out to begin our exploration.

Mount Qinkai
June 26, 2010
In my opinion, Mount Qinkai is the most beautiful Luxon area. The majority of this area was not harmed by the Jade Wind. Mount Qinkai is also so massive that you can see part of it from Pongmei Valley. Catfish, Xia and Claire will be helping me explore this wonderful area today.

Archipelagos
June 25, 2010
In Cavalon while I waited for my friends to arrive, I chatted up some of the Luxons to learn more about their culture. Elder Rhea told me that the gods only value strength, and that is why the Kurzicks are doomed to fall in battle at the hands of the Luxons. As much as I wanted to have a debate about what only one god may want (Balthazar), I kept these thoughts to myself. Next I talked to Rasmus, who explained why their turtles are so huge. They use the magic found in jade and amber to enhance their size. The Kurzicks have the amber the Luxons need and the Luxons have the jade the Kurzicks need. This is just one of many reasons why both sides are constantly at war. Before I could talk to anyone else, my friends Xia, Catfish and R. Wulf arrived so we set out to explore Archipelagos together.

Boreas Seabed
June 24, 2010
One of the things I love about the Jade Sea is that you can see everything for miles. Back when I was in the Echovald Forest, I sometimes had problems seeing 20 feet ahead of me. Here everything is well lit by the open sky and the bright green jade provides little cover for enemies. Catfish, Xia and Cver are joining me today on my first Luxon area. As we entered Boreas Seabed from Zos Shivros Channel, I noticed a huge ship. Catfish told me that this was a leviathan ship named the Halycon, and that the Luxons use it as a protection against Kurzicks. It can move across the Jade Sea by using the wind.
