Turai's Procession
March 09, 2011
In our mission to track down Varesh, the trail leads us back to Kourna. Kormir has been having terrible visions and felt compelled to visit the monument commemorating the Battle of Jahai. As we approached it, she trembled and screamed before disappearing into a portal of darkness. The ancient corpse of Palawa Joko then rose from the monument and thanked us for freeing him. We made a bargain with him to tell us how we might get through the sulphurous wasteland know as the Desolation. He revealed to us the secret to controlling and riding the Junundu Wurms of the sulfurous wastes! I must say, it is quite the experience. For today, I will be exploring the lands that approach the Gates of Desolation.
Here in Turai’s Procession, is the ancestral home of the Elonian centaurs. Two elementalists, Rajas and Ikk will be joining me on today’s exploration.

Bahdok Caverns
January 22, 2011
After my journey through Moddok Crevice and arrival in Vabbi, I’ve bought some more time to explore the areas I passed through. Of course Varesh’s guards prepared for us and staged an ambush at the end of Bahdok Caverns. What I found surprising was the presence of “the Hunger”: a large demonic being. General Bayel and the beast tried to block entry to Vabbi, but we overpowered them. I don’t know why, but Varesh hasn’t taken us seriously since the initial invasion of Gandara. All of the foes I’ve had to face were never enough to halt my movement across Elona. Perhaps she is just trying to delay us while she focuses her energy elsewhere.
For now, I will be re-examining the Bahdok Caverns with my old friend Rajas I., an Elonian Elementalist. While others prefer to rush ahead and spend their free time “farming” money. I enjoy retracing my steps and learning more about the land, its people, and our enemies.

The Floodplain of Mahnkelon
January 16, 2011
Since visiting Gandara, the Moon Fortress and the Barbarous Shore, it has become more difficult to have a moment of peace. While I was freeing Kormir in Gandara, another set of adventurers aided Master of Whispers in this area. A demonic creature named the Drought was corrupting the Elon river. After it was located deep within the waterworks, we have been tasked with finding a way into Vabbi. I’ve yet to explore all of Kourna, but I must push on and put an end to Varesh’s plans. Luckily I have a few hours before we delve into Moddok Crevice, so Elwin, Ikk and I are going to explore the Floodplain of Mahnkelon. As we walked out the gates of Kodonur Crossroads, we noticed some “Kournan apartments” that were carved into the mountain above us.

Barbarous Shore
December 25, 2010
Only my closest friends trust me when I say that I’m only exploring enemy territory just to have a look around. I don’t intend on drawing attention wherever I go, but the smugglers in Camp Hojanu are very suspicious. They might be willing to look the other way if you give them some gold pieces, but once they learn that you’re a famed adventurer they will just keep asking for more gold. I left the outpost with my friends Elwin and Ikk to avoid raising any more attention.

Gandara, The Moon Fortress
November 19, 2010
Normally I don’t stop and take pictures while I am on a serious mission. However I doubt that the opportunity to explore Gandara, the Moon Fortress will crop up again.
Earlier we received a tip that Kormir is still alive and being held inside Gandara. At the same time, Master of Whispers informed us of a powerful demonic creature that was corrupting the Elon river. Us heroes were given the choice of accompanying either Margrid or Master of Whispers. I decided that my stealthy ranger skills were more needed in helping Kormir escape. Plus, I wanted to make sure that nothing happened to her. Brute force works great against a demonic being, but when a life hangs in the balance you must be very careful!
Ever resourceful, Margrid has found a way to get in the fortress without causing all of the guards to come down on us. We “borrowed” some Kournan military uniforms and showed up to the entrance along with my friends Elwin and Loreal. I let Margrid do all the talking, as our accents could have given us away.

Dejarin Estate
November 14, 2010
Ahhh, the Dejarin Estate. I’ve had quite a few adventures here, and only now do I have the time to fully explore it. Earlier I helped Zhed Shadowhoof free his fellow centaurs from their Kournan military captors. We assaulted their fortress on our way out. That was Zhed’s idea, not mine!
Later on, I helped Zudash Dejarin towards reclaiming his estate (this place). During that quest, I found out that Koss is Mr. Dejarin’s son. So in the process of reclaiming the estate, I also mended their troubled relationship. Perhaps in the future I will write more about that, but for now I am going to talk about the area itself.
Elwin and Ikk have joined me once again in Kourna to aid me in my exploration. It is wonderful having two elementalists at my side. Not only can they cast powerful magics, but they are also a great source of information. Don’t let a cute female elementalist’s looks fool you; she is a total bookworm!
A large landmass caught our attention when we entered the area. Sometimes with all of the fighting going on around us, I often forget about Kourna’s natural beauty.

Jahai Bluffs
November 04, 2010
Unless I had seen it with my own eyes I wouldn’t believe it. A centaur walked into the Sunspear Sanctuary and blackmailed us into helping him. Does it sound cruel that I think we should have just held him in a cell somewhere? It’s just one centaur! Oh well, Elwin and Loreal are going to help me explore Jahai Bluffs for now.
Soon as I left the Command Post, my eyes were drawn to this statue. Red light pulsates from it, and its deep sunken eyes seem to stare straight into your soul. It was unsettling. Apparently this is a statue to commemorate the battle between Turai Ossa and Palawa Joko. The Battle of Jahai took place a little over 200 years ago. Palawa Joko’s undead army threatened to take over all of Elona. I guess I can finally see why Varesh Ossa and her Kournan military are so keen on keeping up a big presence. Unfortunately the only danger Elona currently faces is from Varesh Ossa herself.

Sunward Marches
October 19, 2010
I mentioned earlier how Koss found a corsair that would help us. It turns out that this “Margrid” person was trustworthy and didn’t lay a finger on my coin purse while we sailed back to Istan on her boat. Although I’m not entirely sure that was her boat, but whatever. The sunspears that were injured in the attack on Gandara are back home. Also I spoke with the Council of Elders about the war. After much arguing between them, it was decided we should seek out the Vabbian princes. Personally I think Elder Suhl just wants us to go away.
Even though we’re planning to move on, I still find time to explore Elona. Today I’m joined by two elementalists from Ascalon: Elwin and Ikk.

Sunspear Sanctuary & Command Post
October 11, 2010
Sunspear Sanctuary is tucked away in the earth. Apparently this location used to be a cistern for the Elon river. It had fallen out of use and had filled with monstrous bugs. With the removal of the pests and the addition of a Xunlai Agent, it is a good haven for the sunspears in Kourna. Personally I don’t like the new location. If you stand still long enough, you can hear loose rocks falling. I already feel uneasy about being found by Varesh and her demonic allies. The situation is kind of similar to the White Mantle in Kryta, but in Kourna I feel like a sitting duck. Any one of our “friends” could point them in our direction.

Arkjok Ward

Things have settled down a bit at the Sunspear Sanctuary. Koss was found in Arkjok Ward earlier in the holdings of the Kournan military. The brief calm since his rescue, gave me some extra time to explore the area where our friend was held. Today Cver D. is once again helping me explore Elona.

Marga Coast
September 28, 2010
Well, the attack on Gandara to stop Varesh didn’t go so well. We had to retreat when she summoned a pack of demons. Kormir and Koss are no where to be found, and the weaker willed among us won’t stop complaining. Our objective is pretty simple: Varesh must be stopped. I can’t just go back to Istan and hide under a rock. It is time to put away all fears and move forward.
Anyhow, I met up with two Elonian adventurers: Rajas I. and Cherry T. in Yohlon Haven. They were just as excited to explore Marga Coast as I was.
