Raisu Palace

It was quite a devastating blow to watch Shiro kill Master Togo. Even after we revenged Togo and sent Shiro back to the Underworld, I felt uneasy. So I asked my friends Solorian, Catfish, and Vengance to help me clear out Raisu Palace. Kunnavang greeted us when we arrived and offered us the same celestial skills that we used at Imperial Sanctum to defeat Shiro. We accepted the offer and continued on our way to clear all of the Shiro’ken out of the Emperor’s grounds.

Raisu Pavilion

When I first told my friends that I was going to Raisu Pavilion, they offered to come because they wanted to voice some concerns. In the pavilion you can speak with the Emperor’s Hand and a few ministry officials. I knew their intentions were good, but that they would probably be hurling insults by the end of the conversation. So I planned my trip without notifying anyone.

Pongmei Valley

Even though Pongmei Valley is still considered to be within Kaineng City (although that is a bit of a stretch), you can see into the Luxon and Kurizck lands. From here the Luxon area seems nice, because we get a good view of the Qinkaishi Mountains but in reality most of the Luxon area is water frozen in time as jade. The mark Shiro left on Echovald Forest is much more apparent here.

Solorian, N. Squirrel, and Loreal decided to help me today with my exploration of Pongmei Valley.

Sunjiang District

I can still remember trying to defeat Shiro Tagachi with the power of the Spear of Archemorus and the Urn of Saint Viktor. Along with Togo, Mhenlo, and a few others, we destroyed his Shiro’ken only to learn that our he escaped us. I could clearly see Shiro now that I was closer to the stars, but he was still able to flee after we beat him up a bit. Togo suggested that we should talk with the Kurzicks and Luxons. Perhaps their combined strength can help me put an end to Shiro once and for all.

No one in my party doubted the importance of finding new allies, but uniting the Kurizcks and Luxons? That would take more time than we had. Catfish , Claire, Loreal, Harlequin, and Vengance followed me into Sunjiang District to explore the last major area of the city, and to perhaps gain insight into why Shiro came here.

Tahnnaki Temple

Ahhh, at last I get to visit Tahnnakai Temple. After freeing the spirits of Canthan heroes that were bound by Shiro’s magic, you can speak with them in this temple. It is a great way to find guidance and wisdom from our ancestors. Only Catfish, Luky, Claire, and Loreal decided to come with me and visit the spirits here.

Shenzun Tunnels

The Shenzun Tunnels have a lot in common with the Undercity. Both of them have a lot of raw sewage, Am Fah and Afflicted monsters. So I was very surprised when six people offered to help me explore this area. Surely Xia H. D., Catfish J, Vengance H., Morganna D., Harlequin H. and Eirene E. must be mad. After exploring this area, I think it might be best to throw my armor in the trash and buy a new set. I’m not sure if I’ll ever get the stink of this area off of me!

Xaquang Skyway

One would hope that visiting the Xaquang Skyway would smell a bit better than lower places such as Wajjun Bazaar or the Undercity, but it does not. The wind picks up the foul stench of garbage, sewage, and decay then brings it to the skyway. After exploring such places as the Maguuma Jungle and Shing Jea, having to explore Kaineng City makes me feel ill. However, the smell did not stop Xia H. D., Catfish J, Vengance H., Harlequin H., and Oops W. M. from helping me explore this area.

Nahpui Quarter

A slum area located to the side of Nahpui Quarter became available for me to explore after I bested Hai Ji, Tahmu, Kuonghsang and Kaijun Don in the celestial part of Nahpui Quarter and became closer to the stars. Perhaps if I can help save Cantha from Shiro Tagachi’s wrath, I will come back and explore the celestial area in more depth. For now, Catfish J., Morganna D., Xia H.D. and Vengance H. will accompany me in exploring the less glamorous side of Nahpui Quarter.

Shadow's Passage

I will take time to explain the events that occurred in Vizunah Square, since this area is incredibly small. Master Togo first asked me to help him meet Brother Mhenlo in Vizunah Square to find out more on the plague. Foreign adventurers also joined in with myself and other graduates of the monastery. Nearing the end of our mission, I had no idea that Shiro would emerge and kill us all! Then the envoys resurrected us when he had left and explained to us how to become closer to the stars and defeat him. After all of this, we were transported to the Dragon’s Throat outpost.

The Undercity

As of latel, I am beginning to worry about the sanity of my friends. Why would anyone willingly offer to help me explore the Undercity? My friends Catfish J., Morganna D., Xia H. D. and Vengance H. followed me into one of Cantha’s Tyria’s worst smelling areas.

Wajjun Bazaar

Lately people have been showing up very often to help me explore Kaineng City. I spotted Catifsh J., Claire P., and Harlequin H. waiting for me in the marketplace, along with some new faces: J.J.W. and Pang T.T. However I don’t know if so many people would be so excited to follow me into the Underworld or perhaps the Fissure of Woe. I’m hoping to delve into those at the end of my exploration of Cantha.

I am getting ahead of myself. For now I will show my friends around Wajjun Bazaar and teach some gang members a lesson.

Bukdek Byway

When foreigners come to Cantha, Bukdek Byway is the first large explorable area they visit. Slums make up the majority of houses here, with a few nicer ones belonging to a small population of well off citizens. Due to so many people living close together, the plague has swept through Kaineng City. Two prominent Assassin gangs: the Jade Brotherhood and the Am Fah can be found here, adding to the mayhem already caused by the plague. Later on when I reach their strongholds, I will go into more depth about their history. For now I will explore Bukdek Byway with the help of an old friend: Luky, and six new friends: Catfish J, Xia H. D., Snuffles T., Harlequin H.

Bejunkan Pier

All of the students who graduate from Shing Jea Island arrive in the Marketplace via Kaineng Docks. However I am much more curious to explore where foreigners arrive when they reach Cantha for the first time. Tyrians and Elonans have been pouring in to help us with the wicked plague, and they begin their journey in Bejukan Pier.
